Preparation Instructions:
I would like to thank Doris from Ashland Oregon for submitting this wonderful tequila soaked watermelon rind recipe. To begin the recipe you will first need to take out a saucepan and add in the Jose Cuervo Black Medallion Tequila, Potter's Triple Sec, superfine cane sugar, bottled water, fresh squeezed lime juice, and coarse ground sea salt. Heat these ingredients over medium heat, stirring until all of the sugar and salt has fully dissolved, and a light syrup begins to form. Once this syrup is done, set it aside to cool. Next take out a glass baking dish, and add in the cubed skinless watermelon. You can now drizzle the tequila syrup all over the watermelon rind until all of it has been poured into the baking dish. Cover the dish, then slide it into the refrigerator to chill for one hour. That concludes this recipe. Please don't forget to bookmark our website.
