Preparation instruction

This watermelon rind pickle fondue balls recipe was submitted to us by Ruth from Sisters Oregon.
2
To begin you will first need to take out a large mixing bowl, and then add in the egg whites, garlic salt, grated Swiss cheese, and chopped watermelon rind pickles.
3
With regard to the watermelon rind pickles, you can use either our own recipe, or the store bought variety. Combine these ingredients together using a metal whisk. Moving along, next take out a second bowl and add in the Progresso Italian bread crumbs.
4
You can now place spoonfuls of the watermelon rind mixture into the bread crumbs, making sure to roll them into it for an even coating.
5
Your goal is to form small bite size balls. Once your rind pickle balls are done, cook them in a deep fat fryer for two to three minutes each at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius.
6
Once finished you can either set the fried balls aside to harden on paper towels for further fondue cheese dipping, or you can eat them hot from the fryer. That concludes this unique recipe.
